Nearly 7 Years Ago:  Eminem Terrified As Daughter Begins Dating Man Raised On His Music

Uh-oh.  I did kind'a like D-12 for the longest spell ... I wish he were not so hard on himself.  I was also a fan, and I think it had to do with my morbid sense of humor.

I think this Marshall Mathers is some kind of genius, for sure … relative to the environs of his upbringing, quite a unique phenomenon who may only now sense he may have been some kind of vehicle or host for the transmission of some deeper messages having to do with Our Collective Shadows (the parts of our ugly human-animal psyche which we repress in order to present the persona of some helpless, needy creature):

Mad Daddy Drives a U.F.O:
[Now I just can't identify
with this world so I don't try.
Square pegs don't fit in round holes."]

I have to be honest.  I have missed listening to this song, especially, and there is a part of me still very much drawn to this!   OOOOOOOH!

footnote:   To my surprise, I have just discovered that "Mad Daddy Drives a UFO" by Alien Sex Fiend was actually a remake of original song by The Cramps called "Mystery Plane."

The Cramps were an American Psycho-Garage-Punk-Rock&Roll/Rockabilly-Goth band ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9c9jvWlEOY

My Daddy drives a UFO
Drops me off and then he goes
Leaves me on this mystery plane
But he'll be back for me again

Oh, yes he will

Now I just can't identify
With this world so I don't try
Square pegs don't fit in round holes
And I can't fit into these clothes

No

My daddy's unidentified
My mom says I just appeared inside
Looks like a case of hit and run
But I'm the one and it's no fun

No, no, no fun
No!

My daddy he'll come back again
And take me from this mystery plane
And maybe if I go real slow
He'll let me drive his UFO, Oh, Oh, Oh
Oh Boy

My Daddy drives a UFO
My Daddy drives a UFO
My Daddy drives a UFO
U
F
O

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS:  I lean strongly towards favoring the Alien Sex Fiend version ... Mad Daddy Drives a UFO, that is.  Still, I am stunned that this was a remake made overseas from a rock-a-billy punk band from the land the natives called Turtle Island.   :o  I met an actual Blackfoot, J.R. Chiefstick, who, when inebriated, would (3/4 jokingly) insist that the Korean writing on billboards out in Federal Way, Washington, was Martian hieroglyphics.  He liked Credence Clearwater Revival, for what it's worth.  And he called me "Kid Rock" - when he wasn't calling me "Idiot" that is.   :D  We even sang drunk with the boom box in public without getting arrested.  Nobody cared.  It was a nightmarish kind of fun.

Anyway,   The only lyrics changed by Nik Fiend appear to be switching "My daddy drives a UFO" to "Mad Daddy drives a UFO" ...

(for what it's worth, if anything)

Another fun track by The Cramps:   Garbage Man

(fits nicely in a junk drawer in some garage or attic ... for a Ligottian Puppet to listen to)  ;)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aK9Xq0Mr8c

[Verse 1]
You ain't no punk, you punk
You wanna talk about the real junk?
If I ever said (BEEP) I'd be banned
Cause I'm your garbageman

Well, if you can't dig me, you can't dig nothing
Do you want the real thing, or are you just talking?
Do you understand?
I'm your garbageman

Yeah, now it's up from the garage and down the driveway
Now, get outta your mind or get outta my way
Now do you understand?
Do you understand?

[Refrain]
Louie, Louie, Louie, Lou-i
The bird's the word, and do you know why?
You gotta beat it with a stick
You gotta beat it 'til it's thick
You gotta live 'til you're dead
You gotta rock 'til you see red
Now do you understand?
Do you understand?
I'm your garbageman

Aw, dump that on mine...

[Verse 2]
Yeah, it's just what you need when you're down in the dumps
One half hillbilly and one half punk
Eight long legs and one big mouth
The hottest thing from the north to come out of the south

Do you understand?
Do you understand?
Whoo, I can't lose with the stuff I use
And you don't choose no substitutes
So stick out your can
Cause I'm your garbageman

Here it comes now

[Chorus]
Louie, Louie, Louie, Lou-i
The bird's the word, and do you know why?
You gotta beat it with a stick
You gotta beat it 'til it's thick
You gotta live 'til you're dead
You gotta rock 'til you see red
Now do you understand?
Hmmmm?
Do you understand?
Do you understand?
All right, now go

Probably the only time that the "patients" were treated like living sentient beings while in there.

The only asylum is beyond those walls.

I am genuinely cracking up veiwing the performance at the mental hospital.  They were standing only a couple feet away from them.  It's almost surrealistic.  That would never be permitted these days.   :D

At 2:55 in, just after front man tells them their the Cramps from New York City, a femal (paitent, I suppose) screams, "Fauck You!".   :D

The female guitarist was so smooth and steady.  Nothing seems to phase her.
