How on earth would I be able to get through to a man such as Gnar, with all his dangerous toys, that an essential ingredient for error-free computations is an orderly, efficient and neat arrangement of work?
Do you see why I identify with The Steppenwolf? The part of me which embraces mathematics or literature would be torn to pieces by the wild phenomena in this nightmarish island of Doctor Bodysnatchers. The only safe way to instruct future mathematician-philosophers is ahead of time and then from the grave.
Maybe one day, when Herr Gnar has settled down, he might be able to look up my math notebooks on The Wayback Machine. Until then, some lifestyles, with an abundance of cash and access to illicit pleasures, would serve as an enormous impediment to any serious study of mathematics.
Nothing that is so, is so.

learning studying some mathematics in a mystical fortress of solitude.
