Title: To the Goddess of Mathematics from a Poor Lover
Post by: Holden on April 30, 2019, 10:04:10 am

 Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

(W. B. Yeats, 1865 - 1939)

I maybe not be another Gauss,but my love is as pure as his was.

Herr Kasper often uses the phrase"till the wheels fall off".
I had a sort of a vision today.They cremate and don't bury people here.When I am dead and they cremate my body and if the fire's  burnt off every part except for my head and hands ,I would use the two ,on my own ashes,to do maths,like my grandfather did on sand.
