Oprah knows damn well what he’s talking about. She’s steady trying to steer the interview and make him admit to being crazy. Kudos to Dave for keeping it so cool.

Thanks Ibra.  I had not looked at the comments, but I was uncomfortable with Ophra's body language.  She seemed to be clearly pushing for some kind of "confession of mental collapse" ...  ::)

It's in her eyes as well.  I figure it is easier just to take it as a given that the gorts will embrace psychiatric labels to explain away (discredit) someone as a cultural entity.   Isn't each of us such an entity?  Who's narrative is one ultimately forced to accept as the true nature of our reality?

The Corporate Psychiatric Apparatus, which is all wired into the Legal "Justice" System and hospitals, might be used by sociopathic gorts to get into someone's pockets and into one's mind.   It is a machine made of meat, and once one is in its belly, one is at the mercy of each "representative"/associate/employee of that apparatus.   It is fascistic in that the entire apparatus grants great authority to each "unit of humanity" on the front lines.

From nurses to soldiers, from domineering citizen/neighbor to manipulative family members, we are each at the mercy of "the civilizing process."  Suddenly, as a human organism, one is confronted by professional employees following procedures and protocols, trained to be detached, trained to handle "unstable phenomena" on this Island of Dr Moreau.  I commend Dave Chappelle for the way he handled himself.  There may be an art to defending the inner sanctum of the mind from society.

When it comes to being human or human being, it seems unethical for the individual to be bullied by the mob, herd, nation; and yet dictators would beg to differ.

There is no doubt a kind of bullying that is exerted by social engineers and propaganda networks.  There is a nightmarish web of cities.   To be paranoid is simply to be awake to the dangerous and hostile quality of the world we have been thrown into.

What is the function of a mental-disorder/chemical-imbalance diagnosis?   His business associates wished to discredit him, or put him in a compromising position, as he says.  This is a creepy world, to say the least.

I accept psychiatric labels, but I have no faith whatsoever in the treatments or cures.  In fact, I am not even interested in having my so-called "insanity" fixed.   This is a highly ethical problem that individual human beings are at the mercy of an unthinking, unfeeling medical/police apparatus which, in failing to be able to "reach" the "being" in the creature, must lock up the animal body for observation in controlled or even in chaotic environs.

It is as though there are those who imagine we must be overwhelmed with despair.  They do not want us to find our strength within ourselves.

Oprah is low key scary right here. Leading, suggesting, interrupting. She's got the crazy eye too in a few parts. She sold out then bought in.

Super creepy.  The way she is holding his hand just screams hostility.  Absolutely nothing seemed caring about her posture.

The way she said "was there a tipping point for you" with dagger eyes and gritted teeth that demon scary

She's really trying to bully him, manipulate him and that. I can actually feel it. She tried so hard to cut him, to make it seem like he was crazy, undermine his story and make sure he doesn't expose things but rather make him agree with her....

Smart people sound like crazy people to dumb people. Don't ever forget that.
