Can you tell me who the guests of Huawei International are?

Lo siento, Senor Raul, pero, te perdiste este hilo?

See Huawei International in Singapore.  Also:  Huawei: The story of a controversial company.  Our host, freeboards DOT org is located in the United Kingdom, I suppose, since the spell checker puts red lines under words with "American English" spelling, preferring the English of the UK.

Hadn't you noticed more guests?   I assure you, no one from 114.x.x.x has made an attempt to register and engage with us.  I would not mind at all if they did, if they took a break from reading us, and maybe slacked off a little to comment.

See https://whois.ipip.net/AS136907

I have no idea what they would even be interested in.  Maybe it's the programming and the math.   Maybe it's Holden or you ... We may not find ourselves worth spying on, but, well, we are used to one another and used to being ourselves, so we do not shock ourselves.

I thought you were aware of their presence here lately ... every few days.

I do not know much about it, but my vanity hopes someone might find us interesting.   :-\

Hentrich,

Thank you for this interesting information. Yes, I noticed the increase of visitors that started in November. I thought and still think that the increase in visitors was because of you and Holden. What I write is not really relevant since my knowlege is limited. But both of you deal with mathematics and maybe that intrigued these unknown visitors.

About Huawei, I read a year ago that there was was a trade war between China and the USA. I read that Huawei smartphones cannot be hacked by the NSA and that troubled Uncle Sam. China is a surveillance state 24/7/365. Big Brother everywhere aka military-industrial-business complex.

Take a nap.

Yes, indeed.   In one of Kurt Vonnegut's novels about the future, they [the descendants of the plantation owners] had realized that corporate multinational China could run the Prison Industry in the United Snakes of Amerika far more efficiently.   I like to imagine all the jailers and those employed by the current Industry in charge being out of jobs, most likely fit to become fodder themselves for the very institutions they once ran.

Strange days indeed.

As for our guests from Huawei International, I would be honored if they even noticed us, but part of me suspects these employees of that corporate entity may be quite the tools of their employer, where orders always come from the top; and hence, they may not take too kindly to our habit of writing as though we were already dead, or at least as though we are leaning strongly into the warm embrace of death.

Maybe such tools-for-masters would resent our free spirits and wish to witness us put in our place, dragged down the street on a leash while crawling on our knees ...  :-\

Note also that I left you an example in What's Going On? ...

I would wish you well, but what will be will be no matter what my wishes.  I would only request from the indifferent universe that we not be mislead into thinking the outside world is where the nightmare of existence resides.  We have to have recognized by now that the most terrifying aspects of existence are hard-wired into our organisms, our dependency upon air, water, food, shelter ... the nerve endings, spinal chord ...

May we not experience intense physical or emotional or psychological anguish.

May we not be tortured.

Hentrich,

As you say, strange days indeed. Thank you for the example. I read it. They are keeping the board under careful watch. Repeating what you said I also would wish you well, but what will be will be no matter what my wishes.  The nightmare is here on this property called Earth.

We are at the moment in panic here due to first to dengue and now this Chinese virus. This ban is going to crush the country, I mean, the hospitals are already overwhelmed and If you don´t have good money, well, you had better start praying if you are Christian, Muslim, or a Jew. I am in the risk zone because of my high blood pressure, diabetes and overweight. Well, I just hope to exit this world without much agony. The government probably is going to ban funerals due to the high infection in dead bodies killed by the virus.

Cremation is costly. If possible I would like to suggest my sister that she hires a parrillero, someone who prepares the barbecue in Paraguayan style, put my body in the oven and be done with it.

Take care.

Thank you Raul.  I will take care to remain as level-headed as possible.  At least with mass events such as the spread of powerful viruses, there may be something surrealistic about it, something bordering on the fascinating, so that, for many, this will be a welcome relief to the business-as-usual talk about "jobs" and "marriage" and "ball games" ...  ::)

Maybe the people in our world might become a little more philosophical and reflective, at least for a spell.

It looks like Dorothy is not in Kansas anymore, and Mickey Mouse has bailed out of Disneyland.

In other news, the NBA has suspended season.

Hentrich,

Thank you again for your words. The traffic has slowed down a lot these two days due to government measures. I wonder if all these measures will be effective. It has been confirmed that the virus is circulating. It is just a matter of time for the authorities to announce the deaths.

But here the problem is not only the virus but our human hypocrisy. The establishment is concerned mainly for the slaves. If people do not go to work the cash flow will be affected at all levels specially for the banking and financial institutions. To them life has value as much as they contribute to banks and corporations.

Once more take care.

Senor Raul,
I was a little kid today ,crawling,on footpath.
The women here smoke in the public.
It feels surreal.It IS surreal.

I would not particularly mind if this corona thing were to finish me off soon.I wouldn't mind that at all.

Take care.

Holden,

Thank you for your quotes. Since I am the risk zone because of my diabetes and high blood pressure I am a candidate to be finished off by the Chinese virus. There is a lot of panic and fake news. I suppose this is normal.

You say the women smoke in public, well, it could happen that you are going to see women and men ffffuccking in public.

The city in this part has very little activity. All the buses must have the passengers seated. But yesterday when I took the bus there were some passengers standing. I heard that they are going to close the markets and probably the cellars. The heat is unbearable and if there is no beer the situation will turn real ugly. If this virus breaks out in the state prisons, specially in the capital, these measures will be useless. Up to now there are 7 confirmed cases, 119 suspects here.

But the real virus is the government here, there and everywhere. We are entering an ugly state of surveillance. If you suspect there is someone with the virus, you can call 911, the police line here. I hear that we are entering a so-called economic resetting at a global level. The elite that rules this madhouse has its plans.

Take care.

Holden,

I hope you are taking care of yourself due to your lungs. I also hope that Hentrich, Silenus, Ibra and other readers of this blog are also taking care.

As of today the government has issued a sort of curfew in order to mitigate the propagation.   There will be no circulation of people and vehicles from 20:000 pm to 04: 00 am. The restaurants can serve take away food and others are using online and delivery service. All foreigners cannot come to the country through the border controls until the end of the month. Failure to comply with these measures will result in heavy fines or prison terms.

The main airport and other small terminals are increasing controls and flights from Europe, specially, Italy and Spain, are banned. The Paraguayan nationals coming from abroad will isolate themselves for 14 days after entering the country. The shopping malls have been closed. Last week schools and secondary schools and universities have been closed for 15 days. It is possible that this government may extend these measures until the end of the month. All the hospitals, both private and public, has given top priority to this issue.

The government ministries have changed their hours of operations in order to decrease the traffic. It is required that few people attend funerals in order to contain the virus. I told my sister to hire someone to barbecue my corpse because cremation is expensive.

The main state prisons, Tacumbú, and El Buen Pastor (The Good Shepherd) for female inmates are overcrowded. Tacumbú can only house 1,000 inmates but it has 3,000. Both prisons are in the capital and if there is an outbreak there, well, people had better start praying to their gods. It is possible that this country may follow the steps of Italy.

Up to now the government has said that there are 8 confirmed cases, one case that recovered and 2 in critical situation, 119 suspects. Another problem is that this country has a high percentage of malnourished population. This is a lethal cocktail with many ingredients, so to speak.  Many people such as street vendors, window cleaners, newspaper, fruit and lottery vendors in municipality markets, and both female and male sexual workers will have a hard time. In some offices and supermarkets the security guards take the temperature and give you hand sanitizers to wash your hands and then allow you to enter.

If a visitor from another planet came to Earth at this moment it would be an excellent moment to conduct a sociological study of human behavior in times of crisis.

Stay safe and sound.

Senor Raul,
It remainds me of Schopenhauer who wisely left Berlin when an epidemic hit Berlin.
Hegel stayed back and had to pay the price with his life.
A lot of people are wearing masks here including yours truly.

In all honesty if the virus were to get to me I would not really mind, maybe I would think a bit about my unfinished maths project a little bit but other than that I would leave this prison planet gladly.I don't think it would be much worse than TB.

Take care and please be a Schopenhauer and not an Hegel .
