The society is strange.I ,of course, mean, the Indian society. They force everyone to get married.

How much copulation is enough?

Even once is far too much. They say even nine billions is also not enough.

I eat bread,I sleep, drink water, and worry,I see no point ,no objective in a human life.

Why consign another sentient creature to such misery?

When we die, would we really be dead?

Take care.

Everyday the wives cheat on hubbies and the hubbies cheat on their wifies but they still get married and have kids.
I ,of course, do not blame them , they have as much say in the matter as the door knob has in being a door knob. I am fully aware of the fact that I do not marry ,not because I am a better logician than the others or I possess an advanced degree in things like prepositional and predicate logic (my degree only qualifies me to serve food and water to you ) ,but because of the way I am configured.

There is no reason for blame and none for praise.

Holden,

Thank you for the link.     I don´t think any of us in this board, at least, were born “to serve food and water to you” or me or anyone else in this world. But this is the world we were brought into.

To those who happen to read this board for the first time, I will use this expression in Latin, Memento Mori, you are to die. Our time on Earth grows shorter with each passing second. Once browsing the Wikipendia I found out that “Mary, Queen of Scots, owned a large watch carved in the form of a silver skull, embellished with the lines of Horace: “Pale death knocks with the same tempo upon the huts of the poor and the towers of the King.”

For many no copulation is enough on this Earth. A health study says that sex can be considered light exercise. It also lowers blood pressure, burns calories, increases heart health and strengthens muscles, reduces risks of heart disease, stroke and hypertension and last but not least increase libido. This study says that our bodies release oxytocin, called, the love hormone and endorphins during orgasm.  The combination of these hormones act as a sedative. We are hardwired for sex.

Ever heard of the Koro Syndrome? I read this is a headache for Chinese men because this syndrome causes the male reproductive organ to to become a female reproductive organ. They feel that their pennis is becoming reduced in size to the point it disappears. It is more considered a psychological disorder.

Yesterday I heard they performed a C-section to a woman who gave birth to baby in a public hospital and days before a baby died because there was no intensive care unit in another hospital. One dead baby is tragic to the parents but irrelevant in this world where thousands die every second. Copulation is encouraged at all levels. After all who will pay the retirement for the elderly? Who will consume the needless gadgets that the market bombards us with even with this pandemic?

You write: I eat bread,I sleep, drink water, and worry.I see no point, no objective in a human life. Why consign another sentient creature to such misery? I must add that you read, write and think deeply while millions do not do that at all. You ask the one million dollar question. Most would get angry specially if they are parents or grandparents.  Here babies are considered bendiciones, blessings.

To Senor Raul,
“If our life were without end and free from pain, it would possibly not occur to anyone to ask why the world exists, and why it does so in precisely this way, but everything would be taken purely as a matter of course.”

Its raining a lot here.People in power wish to privatise everything.
A famous actor here has committed suicide, but everyone says it's not a suicide ,that he was killed by his girlfriend who is an actress.

My mother, like most devout Hindus believes in reincarnation.

My father is a bit more honest than her and sometimes confesses that he does not understand what the heck is life all about.

I saw a kid in his mid-teens carrying heavy water containers.Very thin.
His master works his very hard .If you wanna make him smile -you only need to crack the joke that slavery has been abolished.

Why are the suicides called cowards?
I could never understand that.It takes a great deal of courage to do what they do.

The actress I told you about ,after the death of her lover, withdrew millions of dollars from his bank account and is now on the run and in hiding.

She has hired one of the most expensive advocates in the country..

I think if Schopenhauer had as much po-rn as there is now then he would have cared about chasing the skirt at all.
Its sad. What is sad you ask?
Well,all of it.Every bit .

Holden,

Thank you for your posts. They are very enlightening.

Yesterday I heard a sad story on a radio station. A woman called a journalist asking for money for her niece. The niece is 13 years old. She was born with severe disabilities. She is in a wheelchair and does not speak and is unable to move. Her diapers are changed every day. And she is suffering from convulsions. The family needs the money because the girl is unable to eat and urinate so the doctors need to perform a gastronomy button. The aunt said she phoned all the politicians she knew but got no answer.

Life is tragic, isn´t it?

Stay safe.

Senor Raul,
Its very hard to sort things out.As they say the road to hell is paved with good intensions.

Many kids are not planned and even planning is not the solution...

I like to hide as the world is a scary place.

Its important to stay dead once one is dead.
There are many kids like the one you described.

There will always be kids like that in the world.
