Thanks for your message. I would like to recommend a book called Valis by Philip K. Dick to you because it is full of Gnostic ideas.I first read PKD around 2008 and immediately felt that he was onto something. You see, he tries to peek behind the veil, and what he finds horrifies him.

He had a very difficult life and he married a number of women.I do not know if he ever found anything which might be termed as “peace”.
