Don Raul,
Thanks for your message .
Generally speaking, books with crime as their theme are deeply pessimistic .

Most of mankind is wicked and it’s only the fear of the law that forces people to have second thoughts before they try to cause harm to others.
Here is a Crime series suggestions for you –

I hope you are keeping well.Religion is poison.I am happy to know that all my heros- you,Herr Hauser ,Schopenhauer are atheists and do not believe in a good god.

You know, Siddhartha the Buddha was married but once he came to understand what’s what he wanted to have nothing to do with his wife any more.

Take care .

Holden,

Thank you for your response, the video clip and the quote by Thomas Hardy. I hope your health is getting better.

Indeed books on crime, and I include books on wars, are deeply pessimistic. These books truly show the misery of the human condition that most people want to hide with their optimistic views.

Certainly we do not want to admit that we are wicked and as you say only the fear of the law forces us to have second thoughts if we want to cause harm to others.

I personally would like to cause harm to some people but I admit that I would not want to be a guest of Tacumbu, (the Paraguayan state prison).

Life is a punishment and maybe I committed a crime in another galaxy and I was sent to atone for my crime on this wretched planet.

Stay safe.

Don Raul,
Thanks for your message.
Today a very strange thing happened and I don't know what to make of it.

I was going to a place in an auto rickshaw due to office work and because of the traffic jam the vechicle was stuck. I was looking out of the window. After a few moments a car came and stopped at the spot I was looking at.

Inside the car was a couple. The man was driving. I looked away but sensed that someone was waving at me.

I looked back and the lady in the car was waving at me.When she had my attention she pointed at the man who was driving(who did not see me) giggled and then hid behind her seat.

After that the car went away.

I found it perplexing. My best guess is that she was mocking me and telling me,using sign language, that a poor man like me who travels in a rickshaw could never be with a lady like her.

Or maybe she thought that I was staring at her and was threatening me that she will inform her boyfriend.

What do you make of it?

At any rate,I hate this prison planet.

Take care.

As incompetent in life as in death, I loathe myself and in this loathing I dream of another life, another death. And for having sought to be a sage such as never was, I am only a madman among the mad. -Emil Cioran

Holden,

Thank you for the video clip and the quote by Emil Cioran.

Certainly you had a very strange experience. Maybe the lady in the car just wanted to make fun of you because she saw you in an auto rickshaw and she was in a fast car.

Yes, we are all prisoners in this planet. Once again our parents did not know what they were doing.

From time to time I see young women breastfeeding their babies. Do they think of the present and future? No, they just want to enjoy being mothers.

I read that a famous writer called Pliny said that “nature´s most pleasing invention is brevity of life.”

Stay well.

Don Raul,

Thanks for your message.

I think ,ideally,we should not have kids in the first place but we ,unfortunately, live in a world very far from the ideal version,so,if a woman gets pregnant and wants to get the baby aborted because she did not plan about having one,she is poor etc.,then,I think, she should have easy access to abortion facilities.

If she does not have the access then she might end up having an unwanted baby and the baby would most probably  have a terribly rough life.

Baby would grow up with low self-esteem and would be kicked around by the wicked people who dwell here.

Take care.
