Schopenhauer was into something. I feel most fortunate in that I possess his philosophy. There is very little that induces fear in me now.Very little. My life, whatever maybe left of it,would be used up in living his philosophy.

I wish they could see the world the way I see it,but that would never be possible.I see the pain and anguish. They see the so called "fun".My words have no meaning for them. They have no meaning for them.As Mr.Gary says,I am not a nihilist.I am a pessimist.I do not think agony is insignificant.

Like ants. They are like ants.Feeding and breeding.

Holden,
Treasure your possession, your philosophy, Dr.Schopenhauer´s philosophy. Others treasure wealth, position, work, sex, their religious beliefs or their countries. Others treasure their children who will take care of them when they are old. Blessed are those who live Schopenhauer´s philosophy. Schopenhauer make most people very uncomfortable. Bad for happy people. Unpopular.

"There is very little that induces fear in me now." You are a brave person, brave indeed. You do not fear.
I live in much fear. That is the gift of life.

Stay well.
