The foot is healing slowly, Holden.   I have had to adjust my mind to the brute fact limitations faced by this current organism-as-a-whole-in-environments.   Korzybki's theories are making themselves felt strongly in my lived experience; that is, that Mike_subscript_yesterday DOES NOT EQUAL Mike_subscript_today.

Also, a couple aphorisms from The Dark Side are ringing loud and clear for me, such as:
